Madison Drake, APC
My name is Madison, and I’m so glad you are here!
Counseling can sometimes seem like a scary jump, that’s why we’re doing it together. It has always been a passion of mine to hear people’s stories, and to help others. It’s my goal to create an environment where you feel comfortable and accepted, while also reminding you how brave it is to take this step in caring for yourself!
I like to take a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to counseling because I feel it is important to find a connection between our minds and bodies. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, and I have the most experience with children and adolescents. I also enjoy working with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
I am so excited to meet you and remind you of your bravery and strength as we walk through this together. Outside of counseling, I love to be creative! Whether that is painting, reading, or just getting coffee with a good friend. I’d love to be a part of your story, and you a part of mine. Let’s dive in and grow together.
My education includes a Bachelors of Psychology from Point University, which is a tiny school on the Georgia/ Alabama border, and a Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. I am currently working toward full licensure under supervision.
