Individual and/or Family Counseling
Counseling and therapy provide an individual or family a unique opportunity for growth and healing. A necessary and basic feature of counseling and therapy is the collaborative relationship between the therapist and client(s), and is based on mutual respect, trust and agreed upon treatment goals. When a therapeutic relationship has been established, counseling and therapy can be effective for helping clients who are experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and body image, emotional trauma, grief and loss, adoption issues, family or other social relationships, school problems and self-harm. Counseling and therapy offer a safe context where clients can journey toward healing.
