Group Counseling
Support groups are helpful for people who share similar issues or struggles. Support groups at Bethel Haven are led by one or two counselors and involve providing education and encouragement for developing or improving coping strategies, building confidence and a sense of community through sharing personal experiences, listening to others' experiences and providing emotional support. Group members must sign confidentiality agreements to respect others’ privacy and create a safe environment. Group members come together to meet and offer a safe place to share with others that are facing similar situations. |
