As a non-profit, Bethel Haven, Inc. is dependent upon the financial support of private donors, grants, churches, and community organizations. Additionally, we host two annual fundraising events to fund our budget needs: Hearts of Gold Benefit and the Bethel Haven Golf Classic. Bethel Haven, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 tax exempt organization. Donations are tax deductible.
Our Annual Golf Classic was a huge success this year. We exceeded our goal of raising $15,000. We were so blessed and thrilled about this result. There was an amazing turn out of 82 golfers that participated this year. We would like to thank every golfer, volunteer, The Georgia Club, and our local businesses who helped support Bethel Haven's Golf Classic. We could not have done it without the help and generosity of everyone! Thank you so much again!!
About the Bethel Haven Golf Classic
Bethel Haven is a nonprofit, Christian counseling organization located in Watkinsville, GA. Bethel Haven's purpose is to provide hope and healing through professional, therapeutic services for people of all ages. We provide care and services for anxiety, depression, emotional distress, victimization, grief and loss, and other reasons. The Bethel Haven Golf Classic is an important fundraiser to meet the operational needs of our organization. As a nonprofit, Bethel Haven is reliant upon our fundraisers, along with private donors, grants, churches, and other organizations.
The Golf Classic is dedicated in memory of Dr. Rick Campbell. Rick is a former board member and co-founder of Bethel Haven along with his wife, Deborah. Rick demonstrated his belief in the mission and purpose of Bethel Haven through sacrificial giving of time and resources, and in the years prior to his passing, spearheaded Bethel's Golf Classic. Rick is remembered for his contagious joy as well as his deep love and passion for both God and people. The Bethel Haven board and staff are honored to hold this annual event in memory of a man who has made such a difference in the lives of so many.
