Deborah Campbell, MSN, APRN, PMHCNS-BC

With over 25 years of nursing experience, Deborah has an excellent working knowledge of mental health concerns. Her advanced practice experience includes over five years in private practice performing extensive psychiatric evaluations and providing medical management and therapy for children, adolescents and adults with complex behavioral and mental health needs. Other work experience includes Duke University Medical Center and UNC Hospitals.

Deborah specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, grief and trauma care and other various behavioral concerns for clients across the lifespan. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Deborah recognizes that distress can be caused by biological, social or psychological difficulties or a combination thereof. Additionally, Deborah's previous experience of 17 years in pastoral ministry with her husband reinforces her strong belief that the spiritual needs of clients should also be considered when meeting the needs of clients. This belief actually became a motivating factor in the founding of Bethel Haven, Inc.

Deborah holds professional memberships in the International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses for Advanced Practice and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Professional honors include Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Deborah was recently widowed after her husband, Rick passed away in 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. They were married for over 24 years and together have two daughters ages 18 and 22.

Rebeca Gilbert, LAPC
Rebeca Gilbert, LAPC

Rebeca Gilbert brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Bethel Haven, Inc. After receiving her Master's in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, she returned to her home state of Florida and worked with at risk children and families providing parenting skills, stress and anxiety management, crisis counseling, and play therapy in outpatient and in-home settings. During that time, she also worked extensively with college students, helping them walk through depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and crisis situations. Most recently, Rebeca worked at a high school where she counseled 9th-12th grades and their families in the areas of depression, anger, grief and anxiety. Rebeca enjoys using art, music, and play with her clients and seeks to integrate creativity in her counseling work with children and teens. Rebeca is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and is currently seeking her LPC in the state of Georgia.

Rebeca's life experience and professional training have given her a heart for working with people who have abuse or neglect in their history. She also enjoys helping families with attachment issues, working with people struggling with depression, or self-injurious behavior, and helping women work through issues around their sexuality. Fluent in Portuguese and having lived internationally, Rebeca also has a gift for counseling people in multi-cultural situations.

In her spare time, Rebeca enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling locally and abroad, and watching college sports.
